Fairburn Hub: Post Consumer Brands is expanding its Fulton County facility to the tune of $32 million. The company is transforming its distribution facility into a Southeastern hub for its breakfast cereal and pet food products, adding 35 full-time jobs. The 301,000-square-foot warehouse expansion is scheduled to be completed in 2027.

Norcross Expansion: LED display manufacturer NanoLumens has expanded in Gwinnett County. Its new 45,000-square-foot location features more warehousing and logistics capacity and a 2,500-square-foot demonstration showroom.

Columbus Construction: Architectural and exterior wall manufacturer Master Wall Inc. recently expanded in Columbus, adding 35 new jobs. The $7 million manufacturing facility, which increases production capacity to meet growing demand, also serves as the company’s corporate headquarters.

Vehicle Test Site: Mercedes-Benz celebrated the grand opening of its $34 million Atlanta Technology Center in West Midtown. The 60,000-square-foot facility is designed to consolidate all of its vehicle testing in the U.S. into one place and will support 160 jobs.

Airport Customs: The Fulton County Executive Airport is getting a new customs facility. Construction of the $5.2 million building is part of a larger expansion planned to include additional hangars. Customs agents must currently travel from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to meet any inbound international flights; the new facility will make it easier and more secure for these flights to land at the airport.

Student Housing: The site of a former hotel is being converted into new student housing in downtown Athens. The 536-unit, 1,656-bed Hub Athens Dougherty will also include around 16,000 square feet of new retail, a 400-space parking deck, a new public plaza and the preservation and revitalization of the historic Foundry building when it is completed in 2028.
