Carnesville Fulfillment: Walmart is building a 1.5-million-square-foot automated fulfillment center in Carnesville, bringing 1,000 new jobs and $1.3 billion in investment to Franklin County. Construction on the facility, which will expand same-day and next-day shipping capabilities across the U.S., will begin by the end of this year.

Gainesville Packaging: Food packaging company Cirkla is investing more than $5 million to establish a new manufacturing facility in Hall County. The project will create some 140 new jobs over the next three years.Gt Featured Sizing

Monroe HQ: South Korean battery energy storage solutions (BESS) company DeltaX is establishing its North American manufacturing headquarters in Walton County, starting with a 100,000-square-foot assembly plant. The $141 million investment will create 250 new jobs. The company makes several products, including battery management systems and AI-powered energy management technologies for AI data centers and more.

Pendergrass Manufacturing: Siemens is investing $185 million into its new advanced manufacturing facility in Jackson County, creating more than 1,400 jobs. The 550,000-square-foot facility, which will begin buildout next month, will make low-voltage electrical components.

Suwanee Electronics: Tier-one automotive electronics supplier YFORE Technology Co. Ltd. has established its North American headquarters in Forsyth County. The fully integrated R&D and manufacturing facility will deepen its North American market access, deliver faster response times and strengthen its local supply chain.

Dunwoody Office: TriNet recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of a new office in Dunwoody. The human resources company plans to create 750 jobs over the next five years.

New Hospital: In Grovetown, Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center opened in August. The six-story 100-bed facility is the first-ever hospital in the county, previously the largest one in Georgia without a hospital. The 254,000-square-foot facility provides emergency care, surgical services, advanced imaging, specialty care and more.

An adjacent 92,000-square-foot medical office building with 11 outpatient clinics will open later this fall.
