Georgia awarded over $60 million in railroad grant funding
Kendall Murry reports that Georgia will receive $65 million for three rail improvement projects as part of $2.4 billion national grant funding in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) announced on Tuesday. The grants will help to pay for 122 projects nationwide in 41 states and Washington D.C.

Port of Brunswick adding second rail yard to accommodate growth

Taiwan government donates $200,000 to Georgia for hurricane relief

First phase of construction begins on Lenox Boardwalk in Buckhead

Social Circle officials look at more downtown revitalization
Jim Thompson reports that three problematic downtown buildings purchased recently by the city of Social Circle will be retooled with an eye toward attracting new restaurants as part of ongoing downtown revitalization efforts.
