2026 40 Under 40 Honorees
In 1996, Georgia Trend published its first list of 40 Under 40 honorees. That means for the past 30 years, you, our readers have nominated smart, industrious, civic-minded people under the age of 40 to be on our coveted annual list.
Each year, our editorial team has the difficult task of narrowing down hundreds of nominations to 40 people who stand out above the rest. These rising stars come from all over the state. They work in schools, businesses and nonprofits; they are CEOs and healthcare professionals, culinary experts and bankers, military veterans and executive directors.
And while each of them has earned respect for their professional accomplishments, they are also known for making a difference by volunteering in their communities. Georgia Trend received nominations submitted from the nominees’ managers, peers, coworkers, fellow volunteers and loved ones. Jennifer Hafer, Michelle Havich, Susana Hills and Mary Gilbreath Pope wrote the honorees’ profiles. We hope their stories are an inspiration. – The Editors
