Calhoun Flooring: Creative Flooring Solutions (CFL), which makes laminate, wood and luxury vinyl tile flooring, is investing $70 million into a new 252,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Calhoun, creating 300 jobs.

Savannah Logistics: Port City Logistics is expanding in Chatham County. The $80-million investment will create 200 jobs. With the expansion, the third-party logistics company will handle an additional 50,400 twenty-foot-equivalent units (TEUs) through the Port of Savannah annually.

Growing Jobs: Orlando-based hydroponics company Kalera will be growing 11 million heads of lettuce a year in a vertical farm in Forest Park for foodservice companies and grocery stores like Publix. The 76,995-square-foot facility, located in the Gillem Logistics Center, will open in early 2021 and create 75 jobs.

Atlanta Software: Alpharetta-based enterprise software solutions and services company Milletech Systems Inc. is moving its offshore operations to new offices in Atlanta, creating 465 jobs. As a woman-owned Georgia State Minority Certified business and a member of the Georgia Mentor Protege Connection, the company plans to recruit more than 100 Georgia college graduates every year in collaboration with WorkSource Atlanta and the University System of Georgia.

Augusta Cybersecurity: Perspecta Inc. (PRSP) is opening a regional office at the Georgia Cyber Center in Augusta in support of the U.S. Army Cyber Command at Fort Gordon, adding 178 jobs.

Macon WFH: In Macon, GEICO’s regional office is hiring 200 new employees this summer. All interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training will be done virtually, and all new employees will work remotely until the company transitions back to offices.
