Authority BrandsHome Services: Authority Brands is establishing its new headquarters, dubbed Franchisee Success Center, in Cobb County. The $13 million investment will create 390 new jobs over the next several years. The home services franchisor, which has 15 brands spanning essential residential services from electrical to lawn care, is served by more than 1,000 franchise owners.

Macon Manufacturing: Precision metal fabrication and manufacturing company Unified Legacy is expanding in Bibb County. The $125 million investment will create 500 new jobs. The company makes components for the defense and aerospace industries, data centers and industrial markets.

Columbus Firearms: HK USA, which makes firearms for the military, law enforcement and civilian markets, is investing $13 million to expand its Columbus-Muscogee County facility, adding 35 jobs. Parent company Heckler & Koch first established operations in Georgia in 2005 and currently supports more than 100 jobs in Columbus.

Suwanee Electrical: French company Socomec recently celebrated the grand opening of its Gwinnett County manufacturing facility, which makes electrical components. The $10 million project will eventually employ 300 people.

North American HQ: ArcelorMittal Building Solutions is establishing its North American headquarters and a new manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County. The $57 million investment will create up to 70 new jobs initially, with plans for an additional $50 million investment and 70 more jobs over the next several years. The company, which designs and manufactures building envelope systems used to insulate and protect warehouses, data centers and more, plans to open the facility in the second half of 2027.

Griffin Expansion: Japanese water-heater manufacturer Rinnai is expanding in Spalding County, opening its third facility in Georgia. The 306,000-square-foot plant will make and distribute commercial products serving large-scale buildings like hotels and apartments.

New Hybrids: The Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America site in Ellabell is celebrating the addition of its first hybrid vehicle to its manufacturing lineup. The company began making the Kia Sportage Turbo-Hybrid in June.
