A Fresh Fueling Stop
A popular convenience store, headquartered in Massachusetts and known for its freshly prepared food, is making its way to Georgia.
Nouria Energy, a family-owned company, has gas stations, convenience stores and car washes in 250 locations across New England and wants to create a footprint in the Southeast.
It recently acquired Enmarket and will soon have a presence in 133 Enmarket convenience stores and 25 car washes in Georgia, including locations in Augusta, Dublin, Sandersville, Swainsboro, Tifton and Warner Robins.
The stores will continue operating under the Enmarket brand for the time being but will showcase some of the food options Nouria is known for, such as fresh chicken and hamburgers.
Nouria has been compared to Savannah-based Parker’s Kitchen, because of its dedicated kitchen that offers take-home meals with fresh meats, poultry and vegetables. In two of its current locations – one in Maine and one in New Hampshire – it has also tried new concepts like Italian food from a local restaurant chain and a bakery offering fresh cookies, doughnuts, muffins and cinnamon rolls.
