The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s largest tech-focused industry association, will host the 2024 Georgia Technology Summit on March 28, Thursday, at the new Signia Hotel in downtown Atlanta.
“The Georgia Technology Summit is the place where innovators and leaders come together,” said TAG President & Chief Executive Officer, Larry K. Williams. “As TAG’s mantra is ‘Think Local, Act Global, we are making big things happen in the Peach State and beyond.”
In celebration of TAG’s 25th anniversary, the theme for this year’s Summit is ‘Innovation in the South – Where Community Meets Technology’. The Summit agenda includes more than 50 speakers ranging from the C-Suite to startup founders with presentations from:
- Governor Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp with welcome remarks, followed by Atlanta’s Mayor Andre Dickens
- Monica Kaufman Pearson, Atlanta’s legendary broadcaster, on how technology has changed during her career as a storyteller
- Distinguished Vice President & Gartner Fellow, Chief of Research, Darryl Plummer, sharing industry insights from Gartner’s research
- A State of the Industry Report from Shayan Hussain, Managing Director of BlackRock
- Marc Gorlin will be inducted to the 2024 Technology Hall of Fame (sponsored by PwC), followed by a panel with fellow Tech Hall of Fame leaders, David Cummings of Atlanta Ventures and Kyle Porter of Salesloft
- A showcase of the Top 40 Most Innovative Companies in Georgia with mainstage presentations from the Top 10 finalists
