Gainesville heats up with Summer MusicFest 2017
Northeast Georgia’s go-to organization for arts events, The Arts Council, has planned a varied line-up of music performances for its 2017 Summer MusicFest™. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to The Arts Council Smithgall Arts Center lawn, 331 Spring Street SW, in Gainesville for a fun-filled evening under the stars.
Summer MusicFest 2017 features:
- Joe Gransden Big Band with vocalist Annie Sellick – June 3rd
- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra with vocalist (and Gainesville native) Robert Cantrell – June 16
- The Northwinds Symphonic Band – July 3rd
- Back in Time (rock ‘n roll) – August 5th
- Riverstreet (Gainesville rock band) – August 19
