New Basketball Stadium: The Atlanta Hawks will be getting a minor-league stadium in College Park. The 3,500-seat arena would host the new Development League team as well as community functions like concerts and school graduations. The facility is scheduled to be complete by mid 2019.

Albany P&G: Procter & Gamble in Dougherty County is adding up to 40 plant technicians to meet increased production demands.

Atlanta Expansion: E-commerce marketing software company Springbot is adding 70 jobs to its Midtown Atlanta offices.

Cook Co. Facility: German company The Linde Group, a manufacturer and supplier of industrial gases, is investing $40 million into a custom-engineered air separation plant in Cook County. The project will create 35 jobs.

Health IT: athenahealth is expanding its Ponce City Market location in Atlanta. It will add 40,000 square feet and expand its workforce to nearly 1,000 employees by 2018.

Breaking Ground: The Plant Riverside District, one of the largest private developments in Savannah’s history, recently broke ground. The $270-million, 670,000-square-foot project will be anchored by a 419-room JW Marriott and create 700 jobs.

Software Development: Honeywell International is opening a $19-million software development center in Midtown Atlanta that will house 800 employees. The expansion is part of its new $10-billion Home and Building Technologies unit there.

New ICE Facility: A new Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility is opening in Folkston, adding 231 jobs.
