Legal Elite 2024
For the 22nd time, we recognize lawyers from all over Georgia who are considered the best in their field.
It seems inevitable these days that you’ll need an attorney at some point in your life – whether you’re making a will, closing on a real estate deal or going through something a bit more stressful, like a divorce or personal injury. So where do you start? One of the best resources is Georgia Trend’s 2024 Legal Elite, a list of lawyers from across the state considered the best in their field by their legal peers.
Members of the state bar who live and practice in Georgia were eligible to vote and to be voted onto this list via our website (georgiatrend.com). Respondents could not vote for themselves but could vote for members of their own firms if they voted for an equal or greater number of attorneys outside their firms.
We received nominations from hundreds of attorneys, and those with the most votes by their peers appear in the following pages, separated by category, in alphabetical order. While lawyers often practice in many different areas, the 2024 Legal Elite are listed in the categories in which fellow attorneys voted them.
The 15 practice areas are: Bankruptcy Rights, Business, Corporate, Criminal, Entertainment and Sports, Family, General Practice/Trial, Healthcare, Immigration, Intellectual Property, Labor and Employment, Personal Injury, Public Finance/Bonds, Real Estate and Construction and Taxes/Estates/Trusts.
Those who made the final list are determined solely by fellow lawyers’ votes; places on the list are not for sale. The names of attorneys who are advertisers appear in red type. The Georgia Trend staff counted the ballots and verified names of those nominated.
