Innovation Hub: Insurance company American International Group Inc. (AIG) is establishing an innovation hub in DeKalb County, tripling the company’s current Metro Atlanta area office space. Scheduled to open in 2026, the new workspace will be designed to foster collaboration and will accommodate the creation of more than 600 new positions over the next five years.

Waynesboro Manufacturing: TMC Transformers USA Inc. is expanding in Georgia. Over the next five years, the international dry-type transformers manufacturer is investing more than $15.3 million in a new manufacturing facility in Burke County, creating at least 110 new jobs.
Alpharetta AI: InfoNet, a New Delhi-based software development and cybersecurity firm, is opening a new office in Alpharetta. It cites the area’s tech talent and pool of innovative companies as incentives for the location.
Hall Printing: Mimaki USA is establishing its U.S. headquarters in Flowery Branch. The Japanese manufacturer of large-format printers will occupy 107,000 square feet, consolidating its two other nearby facilities into this one.
Renewable Natural Gas: Synthica recently broke ground on a $68.3 million renewable biogas facility in Floyd County that will employ nearly 20 people. The company will use an anaerobic digestion process to recycle organic byproducts – food waste such as brewery washout and leftover frying oil from commercial kitchens – to produce the biogas. When completed in 2026, the facility will divert nearly 250,000 tons of waste from local landfills and sewers annually.
Atlanta Automation: French warehouse automation company Exotec is opening a new 37,000-square-foot North American headquarters in south Buckhead, adding 170 new employees within three years. It is also retaining its existing facility that it opened three years ago on the Armour-Ottley loop nearby.
Flowery Branch Lighting: ETI Solid State Lighting, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based NVC International, is opening a 111,000-square-foot facility in Flowery Branch. It will serve as its North American headquarters and its Eastern distribution facility.
