Today, MANA Nutrition‘s warehouse facility in Fitzgerald, GA has the capacity each day to produce 121,000 pounds of MANA, a “ready-to-use therapeutic food” (RUTF) composed of peanut paste, milk, and a special mix of vitamins and minerals.
The Georgia Ports Authority shared a press release following the groundbreaking on MANA’s new 320,000 square-foot warehouse in Pooler, GA. Four miles from the Port of Savannah, the new facility will enable the company to double its current production while adding new storage capacity.
This expansion represents a major step forward in MANA Nutrition’s mission to combat world hunger. It also demonstrates the ongoing logistical prowess of the Georgia Ports Authority and showcases the dedication of our local farmers in delivering high-quality, Georgia-grown ingredients.
