Suwanee Manufacturing: Socomec is investing close to $10 million in an electrical component and systems facility in Gwinnett County. The company, which specializes in power switching, monitoring, conversion and energy storage, will create 300 new jobs.

Screenshot 2025 12 20 At 82612pmAtlanta Expansion: Salesforce Inc. is investing $15 million to expand in Buckhead, creating 250 new jobs by the end of 2028. The company currently supports more than 2,000 jobs across the state.

Rincon Power: Virginia Transformer Corp., which makes custom-designed large power transformers, is expanding its facility in Effingham County. The $40 million investment will create more than 400 new jobs. Construction is expected to begin this month.

Animal Vaccines: New Jersey-based Zoetis, which manufactures vaccines for pets and other animals, is investing $590 million in an expansion of its existing Douglasville facility. The project, which will add 100 jobs, is designed to be the company’s premier technology and digital innovation hub, with collaborative robots, virtual-reality training and a next-gen manufacturing execution system. Completion is expected in 2029.

Valdosta Delivery: Amazon recently opened a new last-mile delivery station in Valdosta. The 63,000-square-foot facility will create more than 100 jobs and help increase delivery speeds in the region.

Innovative Project: Groundbreaking on the first vertical construction for the $100 million Phase 1 of the Rowen Center in Dacula is expected to happen in early 2026. The 2,000-acre life sciences project, modeled after North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park, will bring together innovators in medicine, agriculture and the environment and is expected to create more than 18,500 jobs by 2035.

Training Facility Opens: Georgia Quick Start celebrated the grand opening of its 89,000-square-foot training facility in Ellabell. The Hyundai Mobility Training Center of Georgia will serve as a training ground for employees of the company’s metaplant as well as its suppliers and can train up to 824 people at a time.
