About The Donovan’s Venom

At The Donovan’s Venom, we believe music is more than art. It’s a bridge to learning. Their “Music Is…” program integrates music, literacy, and math education to help students strengthen core academic skills through rhythm, melody, and movement.

Working with DeKalb County schools and community organizations, The Donovan’s Venom has reached more than 150 students this year and served over 1,000 families through their educational and community initiatives. Students have shown measurable results, including:

  • 87% increase in MAP test scores
  • 43% rise in Lexile reading levels
  • 83% improvement in RIT math scores

These outcomes reflect their mission to make fine arts and academic opportunities accessible to all and to use creativity as a tool for lasting educational equity.
