Forsyth Auto: Automaker Stellantis is opening a new 442,000-square-foot distribution center in Monroe County, bringing 90 jobs. The $41 million facility will be for MoPar, the company’s parts and customer care division, for vehicles including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo and FIAT brands.
Adairsville Manufacturing: Belgium-based industrial storage and automation solution company stow Group is investing $36 million to establish a 240,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Gordon County. It will begin operations in 2026 and bring 200 new jobs to the area.
Corporate HQ: FlatironDragados, the second largest civil construction company in North America, is moving its U.S. headquarters to Atlanta. Formed through a recent merger of Colorado-based Flatiron and Spain-based Dragados’ North American division, the company is one of the leads partnering on the upcoming $4.6 billion Georgia 400 Express Lanes project.
Morrow Plumbing: TOTO, which makes luxury toilets, faucets, bidets and other bathroom-related products, celebrated the recent opening of its new $224 million manufacturing facility in Clayton County. With the expanded production capacity, the company will be able to produce some 300,000 more luxury toilets a year and support more than 400 jobs.
Augusta Distribution: Wisconsin-based Generac Power Systems, which makes power generators and storage batteries, recently celebrated the grand opening of its 500,000-square-foot distribution facility in Augusta. It serves as the company’s primary hub for storm-related logistics, allowing it to respond faster when communities face hurricanes, flooding and widespread power loss.
Moultrie Renewables: EnergyTek Corp. is investing $275 million to establish a new manufacturing facility in Colquitt County, eventually creating a total of 1,300 jobs once at full operation. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2025 on the facility, which will make renewable energy components like utility scale and commercial solar panels, inverters and EV charging systems.
