Ben Young Named to Goodwill of North Georgia Board of Directors
Decatur, GA – Goodwill of North Georgia, the nation’s leading Goodwill in connecting job seekers to meaningful employment, is proud to announce the addition of four visionary leaders to its Board of Directors—each bringing the passion, perspective, and expertise needed to help shape the future of workforce opportunity. These new board members will play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission of putting people to work. “I am exceedingly pleased to welcome such talented new members to our Board and enthusiastically look forward to the leadership of an exceptional class of officers,” said Keith T. New members, elected for a 3-year term beginning 7/1/2024, include:
Natalia Migal, Chief Risk Officer, DLL Financial
Ms. Natalia K. Migal is an accomplished C-Suite executive and strategic board director with over 20 years of leadership in global financial services. She brings a rare blend of risk-oriented strategic insight and executive gravitas and combines risk-driven insight and executive acumen, uniquely positioning her to help boards navigate growth, transformation, and operational resilience. As a current Board Director at DLL Financial US and Philips Medical Capital, she brings clarity and discipline to risk governance, cybersecurity, and strategic oversight.
Natalia has consistently aligned risk strategy with business objectives to deliver measurable impact. She has built high-performing risk teams from the ground up, redesigned risk operating models, and elevated risk function into a strategic business asset during mergers and crisis situations. On boards, she has spearheaded governance enhancements and cyber resilience programs, including establishing stronger oversight frameworks across strategy, underwriting, cybersecurity, and finance. In board committee roles—both as Treasurer and as a member of executive and finance committees—she has enhanced budgeting, compensation, and financial oversight processes, enabling better decision making and stronger stakeholder confidence. Natalia is also recognized for her thoughtful and strategic influence in executive sessions, proactively raising tough governance questions and delivering consensus-driven solutions.
Beyond her professional achievements, Natalia is a committed civic and community leader. She serves on the executive board of the Technology Association of Georgia, including Finance Committee Chair and Treasurer roles, on the Board of Councilors at The Carter Center, and is a tenured Rotarian. She also lends her voice at risk and fraud thought leadership events, contributing to industry discourse through webinars and conference panels. She holds three master’s degrees—in Risk Management (NYU Stern), Applied Mathematics (DePaul University), and Sociology (University of Chicago)—and a bachelor’s from Illinois Wesleyan University.

Daffany Fajardo Murphy, Vice President of Human Resources, Enterprise Mobility
Daffany Fajardo Murphy is the Vice President of Human Resources at Enterprise Mobility, where she supports brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Enterprise Car Sales, Enterprise Fleet Management, Alamo, and National Car Rental in Atlanta, GA. She leads human resources, talent acquisition, and talent development for more than 2,000 employees across over 150 locations. Daffany began her career with Enterprise in 1998 as a Management Trainee in Boston and has dedicated 26 years to the company, 24 of those in HR leadership roles.
Daffany holds a BA in Psychology and English Literature from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. Deeply engaged in community service, she serves on the North Fulton Community Charities Advisory Council and has held leadership positions with United Way’s Women United Cabinet. A proud mother of two, her daughter Daxylee teaches English in Spain, and her son Liam is a sophomore at Georgia State University. In her spare time, Daffany enjoys traveling, dancing, and running—she recently completed her 13th marathon and 6th World Marathon Major in Boston this past April.

James R. Summer III, Managing Director, Ernst & Young
James R. Summer is a Managing Director at Ernst & Young with more than 35 years of experience advising high-growth companies and mission-driven organizations. A longtime contributor to Atlanta’s startup and technology ecosystem, James is known for helping founders expand their networks throughout the community and scale their businesses.
He also brings deep expertise in nonprofit financial management and board governance, supporting EY teams across the U.S. and Canada on complex accounting and compliance issues. His clients range from large national nonprofits to several of Atlanta’s most successful unicorns.
James serves on the AICPA Not-for-Profit Expert Panel and has contributed to multiple FASB working groups focused on nonprofit reporting. He holds a B.B.A. from Emory University and is a CPA in Georgia. A member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2024, James has held leadership roles with organizations including the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, HERO for Children, Lutheran Towers, and Youth About Business. He’s also an active mentor with the Atlanta Technology Village, ATDC, Techstars and the Cox CleanTech Accelerator.

Ben Young, Editor in Chief and Publisher, Georgia Trend Magazine
Ben Young is the Editor in Chief and Publisher of Georgia Trend, a monthly magazine covering business, politics, and economic development since 1985. With more than 50,000 subscribers across every city and county in Georgia, the magazine has a strong statewide presence. A Dalton native, Young attended high school in Savannah and graduated with honors from Wake Forest University in 1994 as a Presidential and Eleanor Layfield Davis Art Scholar. After a decade of working in Atlanta as an artist, writer, and record label entrepreneur, he joined Georgia Trend in 2003 and became Editor-in-Chief and Publisher in 2017.
In addition to expanding Georgia Trend’s digital reach and leading custom publications like Georgia Grown, Young has earned national journalism awards, including a Green Eyeshade Award. He serves on the boards of the Metro Atlanta and Georgia Chambers of Commerce and is active in the Gwinnett and Cobb Chamber leadership circles. His nonprofit work includes roles with the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation and Wellroot, as well as past service with organizations such as Georgia Forward and the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. He lives in Avondale Estates with his wife, Temple, and their son, Holden.
