The Atlanta-based beverage giant revealed Tuesday, as part of the company’s second-quarter earnings report , it plans to expand its core product lineup in response to evolving consumer taste and recent comments from former President Donald Trump.

Guevara, who was known for his immigration reporting, was covering a protest against the Trump administration’s immigration policies when he was arrested in DeKalb County on June 14.

State GOP returns political contributions to court receiver for First Fidelity, an alleged Ponzi scheme

State ethics panel dismisses complaint against Burt Jones

Dave Williams reports that the State Ethics Commission has dismissed a complaint calling for an investigation of Lt. Gov. Burt Jones’ $10 million loan to his gubernatorial campaign. In a letter dated Monday, commission Director David Emadi wrote that the complaint failed to allege a violation of the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Act.

Trump ally no longer believes Kemp, Raffensperger should be prosecuted

David Wickert reports that for years Bill White picked fights with some of Georgia’s top elected Republicans, going so far as to say some should be prosecuted for failing to help President Donald Trump overturn the 2020 election. On Tuesday, White had to answer for some of those statements at a hearing before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which is considering his nomination to be Trump’s ambassador to Belgium.
