TOUR Championship tracking for largest hospitality build in history of event at East Lake
In a city with a reputation for hosting the world’s greatest sporting events, the TOUR Championship continues to evolve its experience to stand in the upper echelon of Atlanta’s sports landscape.
The dynamic onsite experience is curated to showcase the best of golf and the best of Atlanta, which provides a unique platform for businesses across the state and region to host customers, prospects, or employees.
As the TOUR Championship continues to elevate its comprehensive hospitality offerings, many business leaders have already taken action to lock in this hosting opportunity, with three products already sold out for the 2025 edition according to tournament organizers.
With the event not taking place until August, it highlights the continued elevated interest in the TOUR Championship from the business community. There are still customized packages and venue options available, and business leaders are encouraged to act soon while these options remain.
“Golf is uniquely ideal for client entertainment,” said Alex Urban, Executive Director of the TOUR Championship. “Guests are not confined to a section, row or seat like other sporting events. We offer customized hosting opportunities across East Lake Golf Club for all types of business needs which strikes a perfect balance between professional development and a front-row seat for the best golf action in the world.”
While client entertainment is always at the forefront, businesses looking to mingle with other companies might find a better fit at the newest offering in 2025, the Playoff Pavilion located on East Lake Golf Club’s signature par-3 15th hole. A semi-private, climate-controlled space on the ground floor of this double-decker venue offers reserved seating in an all-inclusive environment overlooking the action on the green. This location allows companies to have 24 guests per day while also being able to network with others around them.
Speaking of watching golf’s greatest talents, the Starter Lounge, which is situated on the No. 1 tee, creates a heightened level of anticipation for each tee time by giving guests a one-of-a-kind vantage point as the PGA TOUR’s top players pass through the venue during their pressure-packed walk to the tee to begin their round each day. With food and beverage included, the Starter Lounge offers optimal experience to watch every group tee off form this ground-level, shared hospitality venue.
“We’re proud to be the tournament that decides the FedExCup Champion, and we want the entire hosting experience to reflect the drama, excitement and grandeur leading up to that crowning moment,” said Urban.
In addition to hosting experiences, the TOUR Championship serves as a platform for businesses to associate their brands with a premier sporting event while giving back to the Metro-Atlanta community at the same time.
The annual PGA TOUR stop in Atlanta has generated more than $54 million through the 2023 event in community impact funds since 1998 and proudly supports the East Lake Foundation, Focused Community Strategies, the Grove Park Foundation, Purpose Built Schools Atlanta and First Tee – Metro Atlanta, among others.
As the demand for a front-row seat at the final event of the PGA TOUR season continues to rise, so has the desire to evolve the onsite hospitality offerings. From more thoughtful positioning of venues to enhanced interior layouts, the experience of attending the TOUR Championship has cemented itself on the bucket list of Atlantans and golf fans around the globe.
