Waynesboro Manufacturing: Ritz Instrument Transformers, a global company that manufactures products used in electrical systems, is investing $28 million to open a site in Waynesboro. The facility will produce high-voltage instrument transformers, creating 130 new jobs in Burke County in late 2025.

Addressing Hunger: MANA Nutrition broke ground recently on a 320,000-square-foot warehouse in Pooler, which will enable the company to double its current production and add new storage capacity. When it opens in early 2025, the advanced food processing facility will make the company’s ready-to-use peanut-based food products, which are sold to entities like UNICEF to address hunger challenges worldwide.

Union City Data: Microsoft is building a $1.8 billion data center in Fulton County. The 2.1-million-square-foot campus in Union City will be one of the largest data center projects in the Southeast as measured by energy use.

Norcross Outpost: Japanese company Hirano Tecseed Co. Ltd. is opening its first U.S. office in Gwinnett County. The company makes coating machines used in aerospace, electronics and medical industries to produce things like aircraft parts, adhesive tape and wallpaper.

Dalton Flooring: Certified Flooring Installers is opening its headquarters and warehouse in Dalton. The 20,000-square-foot facility will also house the Floor Covering Education Foundation and serve as a training hub for certifying professional flooring installers.

Morrow Expansion: Shower and bath products manufacturer TOTO USA is expanding in Clayton County. The $238 million project will support more than 300 high-wage jobs. TOTO USA has operated its American headquarters in Clayton County since 1996.
