Honoring a Legacy of Nonviolence

This year would have been Martin Luther King’s 95th birthday. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change is commemorating the occasion by ensuring his legacy promotes positive social impact.

This year’s theme is “Shifting the Cultural Climate through the Study and Practice of Kingian Nonviolence.” The King Center’s website says King demonstrated that nonviolence is “the sustainable solution to injustice and violence in our world … where injustice ceases, and love prevails.”
