Pendergrass Auto: Toyota Industries Electric Systems North America Inc. (TIESNA) is expanding its Toyota Industries campus in Jackson County with a $69 million manufacturing facility that will produce DC-to-DC converters. The expansion will produce 250 new jobs when operations begin in 2025.

Rome Data Center: Microsoft is investing $1 billion to build a data center campus in Floyd County to support its cloud technologies and Azure business. The 347-acre project will create an initial 150 jobs when it opens in three or four years with more expected to follow.

Calhoun Flooring: Flooring manufacturer Creative Flooring Solutions will expand its Gordon County campus with an additional 1.4 million square feet and add 280 jobs over a five-year period, with a $151 million investment. The company had previously announced a $70 million expansion in 2020.

Dublin Investment: Korean auto parts company Hwashin is building a manufacturing facility in Laurens County. The $176 million investment will create more than 460 jobs. The Georgia facility will begin production in late 2025, primarily focusing on making chassis components for companies like Hyundai and Kia.

Carrollton Cars: CarMax Inc. is opening its first standalone reconditioning center in Carroll County. The 70,000-square-foot facility, which will recondition used vehicles to be sold at Atlanta-area CarMax stores, will employ 100 when it opens in February 2024 with an additional 100 hires by early 2025.

Savannah Aircraft: Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently celebrated the completion of its new 142,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Savannah. The $150 million investment added 1,600 new employees to produce the Gulfstream G400, G500 and G600 aircraft.

Newnan Auto Parts: Hyundai Industrial Co. Ltd. is investing $24 million into a new manufacturing facility in Coweta County that will create 100 new jobs. The facility will produce seats as well as arm and headrests for manufacturers, including Hyundai and Kia.
