Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation Announces Its 2024 List of State’s 10 Places in Peril
Staff reports that the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation released today its 2024 list of 10 Places in Peril in the state. Sites on the list include: Atlanta Constitution Building in Atlanta; Broad Avenue Elementary in Albany; Cedar Grove in Martinez; Church of the Good Shepherd in Thomasville; Grace Baptist Church in Darien; Hogg Hummock on Sapelo Island; Old First Baptist Church in Augusta; Pine Log Mountain; Piney Grove Cemetery in Atlanta; and Sugar Valley Consolidated School in Sugar Valley.
