More Flooring: Retailer Floor & Decor is expanding and relocating its headquarters in Cobb County, creating 500 jobs over the next five years.

Augusta IT: BurningCastle LLC is creating 50 jobs in Augusta. The IT consulting company was awarded a contract with the U.S. Army to provide IT and logistics training at Fort Gordon, the home of the U.S. Army Cyber Command.

Atlanta CRM: Customer relationship management (CRM) company Salesforce is investing $12.3 million to expand its Atlanta presence. The company is growing its Buckhead footprint and adding 600 jobs.

Wood Pellets: Archer Forest Products, which supplies wood pellets to Europe’s industrial market, is investing $15 million in Brantley County and creating 35 jobs.

Newnan Automotive: Automotive supplier Vintech Industries is opening a facility in Coweta County that will create an initial 30 jobs when production ramps up in early 2019.

Covington Brake Pads: Nisshinbo Automotive Manufacturing Inc., which manufactures environmentally friendly brake pads, broke ground on a $72-million expansion in Covington that will create 100 new jobs and is expected to be completed by 2022.

Douglas Expansion: Elixir Extrusions, which makes custom aluminum extrusions and fabricated parts, is growing in Douglas-Coffee County. The $8-million, two-phase expansion will create 130 new jobs.

 More Hospital Services: Grady Hospital announced a $180-million, 225,000-square-foot Center for Advanced Surgical Services in downtown Atlanta. Construction is slated to be completed by 2021.
