Local Delivery: San Francisco-based Instacart, an on-demand grocery delivery service, is creating more than 400 jobs and investing $40 million into a Customer Experience Center in Metro Atlanta.

Chattooga County: Color resin pellets manufacturing company Dixie Color is investing more than $19 million in a new facility in Trion, creating 100 jobs.

Intown Analytics: Call analytics company CallRail is expanding in downtown Atlanta, adding 300 new jobs over the next five years.

Hall County HQ: Turkish plastic compounder Elastron is opening its North American headquarters in Gainesville, a $10-million investment that will provide an initial 20 to 25 jobs.

Square Deal: San Francisco-based tech company Square is doubling up in Atlanta, adding 13,000 square feet of office space in Atlantic Station and 60 jobs.

Cooking Up Jobs: Perdue Farms is expanding its cooking operation in Houston County. The $42-million investment will create 125 new jobs.

Sandy Springs Expansion: Payments company Elavon Inc. is expanding its headquarters in Sandy Springs. The move will create nearly 200 jobs over the next three years.

Midtown Software: Event management software firm Gather Technologies, which caters to the restaurant industry, is expanding into a 31,000-square-foot office in Midtown Atlanta, creating 100 jobs.

Troup Co. Hub: Surface preparation company Wheelabrator Group is consolidating its North American operations into a regional hub in LaGrange by the end of the year.
