New Hospital: A $50-million, 50-bed hospital is slated for Lee County, with construction to begin in early 2017. It will be the first hospital to be located within the county.

 Cobb Communications: Granite Telecommunications is expanding in Cobb County, creating 50 new jobs. The communications solutions provider serves more than two-thirds of the Fortune 100 companies in the U.S.

Braselton Jobs: A 600,000-square-foot Amazon fulfillment center will be opening in Jackson County, creating more than 500 jobs.

Data Hub: GE Digital is establishing its first global Digital Operations Center in Atlanta to support its Global Infrastructure operations. The $3-million facility will create 250 jobs in Midtown Atlanta.

Global Manufacturing: SKF Group is consolidating and moving some of its operations from Hanover, Penn., to Flowery Branch. The Swedish company is a global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics and lubrication systems to more than 40 industries.

Relocation: W.F. Taylor has relocated its headquarters from Fontana, Calif., to Dalton. The flooring adhesives and coatings manufacturer will bring 40 employees.

Gwinnett Expansion: SpacePole Inc., which supplies ergonomic display mounts for point-of-sale screens, payment devices and receipt printers, is expanding its distribution center and headquarters in Norcross.

Dublin Distribution: Israeli company Polymer Logistics, which manufactures reusable plastic produce crates, is opening a distribution center in Laurens County that will employ 110 people.
