More Floors: Mohawk Industries is expanding its vinyl flooring operations in Dalton-Whitfield County to the tune of $100 million. The expansion will add 200 jobs.


FinTech Expansion: Equifax is undergoing a $17-million expansion in Midtown Atlanta, creating 150 new jobs and relocating 500 more from its Sandy Springs and Alpharetta offices.


Tire Support: CJ Korea Express is opening a 33,000-square-foot facility in Ocmulgee East Industrial Park, where it will coordinate receiving and shipping of rubber for the new Kumho tire plant in Bibb County.


Building on Science: Coda, the second phase of Georgia Tech’s Technology Square in Atlanta, will break ground this November. The $375-million, 750,000-square-foot mixed-use project will open in January 2019.


Augusta Concrete: EdenCrete Industries Inc. is opening a $67-million plant in Richmond County that will produce carbon nanotube-enriched additives that strengthen cement for the transportation industry. The plant will employ up to 250 people within four years.


Rome Bottling: Ball Corp. is adding an aluminum “bottle” manufacturing line at its Floyd County facility. The $50-million investment will add 60,000 square feet and create 40 new jobs.
