Moultrie Beef: Kansas City, Kan.-based National Beef Packing Co. is growing its operations in Colquitt County. The $9-million expansion will create 200 jobs.
Southern Candy: Mars Inc. is adding jobs at two Georgia plants. In Flowery Branch, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. will ramp up production of the Orbit and Excel gum brands, adding 155 jobs. In Albany, Mars Chocolate North America will add 20 jobs as part of the national launch of its goodnessknows Snack Squares.
Monticello Wood: Thompson & Thwaite is opening a wide plank floor manufacturing plant in Jasper County. The 20-acre facility will create more than 20 jobs.
Innovation Hub: UK-based business management software company Sage is establishing its North American headquarters and innovation hub in Midtown Atlanta. The new location will join its existing operations in Lawrenceville and add 400 jobs over the next few years.
Auto in Toccoa: NIFCO KTW, a German auto supplier of injection-molded components, will open its U.S. operations in Stephens County. The $27-million investment includes a 130,000-square-foot facility and 200 jobs.
Roswell HQ: Courion is relocating its international headquarters to Roswell. The move will create 100 jobs over the next two years for the identity and access management solutions provider.
Macon Manufacturing: First Quality Packaging Solutions will locate manufacturing operations in Macon, creating 115 jobs and investing $68 million over the next five years.
