Moving Intown: NCR Corp. is moving its corporate headquarters from Duluth to Midtown Atlanta to be closer to prospective tech employees and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. As many as 4,000 people will move to the new Technology Square campus by early 2018. The Fortune 500 technology company originally relocated its headquarters from Ohio to Georgia in 2009.

Plumping Up: Tyson Foods Inc. is expanding in Vienna. The $110-million investment will create 500 jobs over the next year and add 100,000 square feet to its existing facility, which will convert from processing chicken for food service to fresh tray pack chicken for regional retail stores.

Fayette Co. HQ: Osmose Utilities Services Inc. is building a new headquarters in Peachtree City. The inspection, maintenance and rehabilitation service provider for electric utilities and telecommunications companies will create up to 100 jobs over the next year.

Taking Flight: San Francisco-based Twitter is expanding its footprint, with plans to lease 8,000 square feet at Ponce City Market in Atlanta. The office will open this summer and house about 70 members of the social networking company’s sales and marketing teams.

Gwinnett Growth: Validation & Engineering Group is locating its U.S. operations in Gwinnett County. The Puerto Rico-based engineering firm will create 20 jobs over the next two years and invest $3 million in the project.

Flooring Gains: Mohawk Industries is adding 90 employees to its Gordon County manufacturing facilities. The Dalton-based company is also expanding into the luxury vinyl tile industry, with its recent purchase of Belgian vinyl and laminate manufacturer IVC Group for $1.2 billion.
