Moving IT: Media giant CBS Corp. is locating an IT and software services center in Sandy Springs, creating 100 jobs.

Big for Macon: Tennessee-based Tractor Sup-ply Co. is leaving Braselton for Macon to expand its distribution warehouse and be closer to the Port of Savan-nah. The $50-million, 650,000- square-foot facility will em-ploy 200.

Dallas Expansion: MG International is expanding its manufacturing operations in Dallas. The Japanese auto parts maker’s $9.5-million expansion includes a 40,000-square-foot building and will add 30 jobs.

Insurance Grows: State Farm Insurance is locating an operations center near Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, adding 500 jobs.

Jobs in Sandy Springs: First Data Corp. is expanding in Sandy Springs, bringing 100 jobs to the area. The payments processing company employs 1,400 state-wide.

Growing in Gwinnett: OLI is building a $1.2-million assembly and testing facility in Gwinnett County, creating 14 jobs. The facility is part of an expansion for the industrial vibratory motors and flow aids manufacturer and supplier.

Albany Heads Outdoors: Outdoor Network is bringing 112 jobs to Albany. The online marine and powersport parts provider is moving its Internet fulfillment center to the area.

Global Partnership: Soil and site preparation company Savannah Global Solutions and Brazil-based CZM Foundation Equip-ment have partnered on a new manufacturing venture in Pembroke that will employ 50.

Twiggs Expansion: Academy Sports + Out-doors is expanding its distribution center in Twiggs County. Some 500,000 square feet will be added to the 1.1-million-square-foot building, and 250 new jobs will be created.

High-Tech Jobs: Austin, Texas-based Q2ebanking opened a second location in Norcross to accommodate growing demand for its electronic banking services, creating 40 high-tech jobs.

Port Relocation: Halstead New England is moving its operations from the Port of New Jersey to the Port of Savannah. The 112,000-square-foot flooring and granite building products distribution center will initially employ 12.

Move to Marietta: New York-based Sterling Info-systems, Inc. is moving its IT and engineering headquarters to Marietta, adding 30 full-time positions.

Auto Supplier Additions: Powertech America in West Point is adding a third shift and 143 employees. The automatic transmission manufacturer is a major supplier to nearby Kia.
