Healthcare IT: Health benefits company Anthem is establishing an IT services hub in Midtown Atlanta, creating 1,800 jobs and investing more than $20 million over the next six years.
Coastal Expansion: Firearm manufacturer Daniel Defense is investing $29.5 million to expand its Bryan County facility, adding 75 new jobs.
Lavonia Expansion: German company Ritz Instrument Transformers is undergoing an $8-million expansion that will create 50 new jobs at its Hart County facility.
Growing Up: Internet startup FullStory, which offers an app to capture customer experience data, is relocating to a 15,000-square-foot facility in Atlanta. The $5-million expansion will add 65 jobs.

New Hospital: Emory Healthcare is reopening the former Emory-Adventist Hospital in Cobb County as Emory University Hospital Smyrna. The existing facility, which closed in 2014, will undergo a $33.8-million renovation.
